About Laagje
Laagje started with one 3D printer, a stack of filament spools and a question: can a photo be printed without ink? Turns out it can. By printing layers of filament at different thicknesses, an image appears that you can feel.
Every bookmark is printed at our home in Belgium, one at a time and to order. No stock, no waste. You pick the colours, we make sure the layers line up.
Our layer-by-layer technique translates the brightness of your photo into colour bands, from light to dark. Four colours already give you surprising depth.
